Privacy policy

Scope

This policy applies to homepulse.be, including the quote form, the installation simulator and the legal pages. The simulator calculates locally in your browser; that configuration is not sent to our servers until you submit a quote request.

Controller

HomePulse is the controller of personal data collected via this site. For any question about your data: hello@homepulse.be.

Data we collect

We collect only what is needed for contact, the commercial relationship and, with your consent, audience measurement:

• Contact data: name, e-mail, phone and the project information you send via the quote form or by e-mail.
• Technical connection data: IP address and security logs, kept temporarily by the host.
• Measurement data (only with consent): page views, referring site, device and browser type, approximate geography, via Google Analytics 4.
• Local preferences in your browser: theme (light / dark) and your cookie choice. Those values are never sent to our servers.

Purposes

We process data in order to:

• answer your requests and prepare quotes;
• perform, follow up and invoice services;
• keep the site secure;
• meet legal obligations (accounts, tax);
• understand site use and improve the content, with your consent (Google Analytics).

Legal bases

Processing is based on:

• your consent for Google Analytics and optional cookies;
• legitimate interest for commercial correspondence that you initiate;
• performance of a contract once a mission is accepted;
• legal obligation for accounting and tax data.

Recipients

Your data are not sold or passed to third parties for commercial prospecting. They may be shared with strictly necessary technical processors, bound by confidentiality and GDPR-compliant:

• hosting and delivery of the site (Vercel);
• forwarding of the quote form by e-mail to hello@homepulse.be (FormSubmit);
• e-mail and office tools;
• Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept analytics cookies.

Retention

We do not keep data longer than needed:

• inbound and outbound e-mail: up to three years after the last exchange;
• contract and invoicing data: the applicable legal period (ten years for accounting);
• Google Analytics: fourteen months by default, unless you withdraw consent earlier;
• technical host logs: according to the host’s default periods.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure (within legal limits), restriction, portability and objection. You may withdraw Analytics consent at any time via cookie preferences or by writing to hello@homepulse.be.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD): autoriteprotectiondonnees.be / gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. E-mail travels through professional, GDPR-compliant providers. The quote form is stored locally in the browser until you send it; on submit it is e-mailed to hello@homepulse.be. There is no user account on the site.

Transfers outside the EEA

Vercel (hosting) and Google (Analytics, if allowed) may involve technical processing outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers are framed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, additional measures.
